Shape and Shift at Sunshine is a 6 week course for adult women. If you are looking to connect with yourself and others on a deeper level and learn healthy ways to cope and express yourself creatively this is the perfect space for you. The group is facilitated by two Milford residents, Marie Chutjian, artist, teacher, and owner of Sunshine Ceramics Studio; and Jenny Noia-Gilson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a therapy private practice. Marie and Jenny will co-facilitate thoughtful conversation incorporating their personal journeys, psychoeducation, and art, with the goal of bringing healing and support. The six week course will begin Monday, July 14th from 6pm - 8pm, though some evenings will allot for additional time to complete projects. The cost is $450 for the entire six week session, which includes: -Co-faciliation by aritst / Certified teacher and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. -4 complete art projects -Printed lessons/workbook, and coping skill packet to take home -Journal prompts -Course will include aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS); coupled with projects in mixed mediums including collage, painting, sculpting, and wheel throwing.
